Final Course Reflection by Zack Brown

Spanish has been quite an experience throughout this entire semester. Some

subjects were review, but most were all new to me. The following are the variety of

topics we discussed throughout the second quarter.

During subject five, our class learned about the arts. We expanded our

knowledge on pronunciation and understanding of the usage of art-based words. In

subject six, we shifted to vocabulary based on city life. We also learned how to give

directions to people both orally and through writing. It is very proficient because if we

need to help a foreigner get directions, we will have the ability to do that. Using our new

found knowledge of directions, we completed an iWeb on directions to place to place in

a specific city in Spain. It was extremely helpful to me and the whole class.

There were two parts of vocabulary in subject seven, which referred to trips and

things regarding that. We also had a huge part of grammar in this subject. Four tenses

the class and I learned included future, future perfect, conditional, and conditional

perfect. These tenses allowed me to further myself in this vivacious language.

Subject eight was the final piece to the puzzle in this course. The vocabulary

consisted of studies, professions, advancements in technology, and the environment.

The grammar section of this part dealt with the subjunctive tense. It helped us read the

sentence and write it as a sure or unsure statement. We were also able to distinguish
language, however, because I have many AP classes that I need for my intended major

in college, which is Physics. It has been quite an experience and I appreciate the hard

work Mrs. Carter has put in to help every person out.
