The current target market for Mane ‘n Tail is women, varying in age from twenties to thirties, that are usually
from rural/country areas. The models used in photos on the website appear twenty to thirty years old, and
some photos appear to have a ‘coutnry’ vibe to them.
Rebrand //
The target market after the rebrand will still be women, but rather teens and women in their early twenties.
Typically these women want to grow their hair long quickly and care more about having longer hair than
older women. The focus on the product being used for horses will be removed.

Currently, Mane ‘n Tail’s claim to fame is that their hair products can be used for both human and horse
hair. They also allude to the idea that the product helps hair grow longer. In order to make it feel more
contemporary and exciting, they should focus more on more sustainable, appealing packaging while
embracing the idea that the product makes your hair grow longer and stronger. The user base is
larger for human use than for horse use so there should definitely be more of a focus towards them.
