The HCEMx team formed at Stanford's Technology Ventures course in 2012 to develop a remote patient monitoring system. The multidisciplinary team includes backgrounds in biomedical engineering, electronics, and neurology. Their system collects patient data in the cloud to monitor chronic conditions, send alerts to patients and caregivers, and enables lifestyle improvements to extend patients' independence. They aim to serve the large and growing Mexican healthcare market by addressing fundamental problems with a collaborative solution.
