1. 3 KEY LEARNINGS
To IDEATE is not so
hard like you
imagined. You just
need to let
yourself go with
your thoughts and
feelings.
It’s really
important to
express your
thoughts through
writing, sketching,
or prototyping. In
order to do that,
you need to keep
in mind to suit
your work space so
it promotes your
creativity and gives
you the tools you
need to express it.
It’s possible to
inspire others to
implement Design
Thinking into their
lives and work
experiences, like
this class did!
2. My Design Thinking process…
EXPLORE the
needs/concerns/
wishes of
someone
Analyse the
information,
DEFINE a problem
statement and its
insights.
BRAINSTORMING
SELECT 3 most
promising ideas
PROTOTYPE 2
ideas.
Get feedback and
REDEFINE.
I felt really comfortable doing these... This was a little hard...
I didn’t get enough time to do these…
… I felt like my ideas were no good.
3. My reflection about how design thinking skills and
mindsets could be applied to problems I care about…
Policy making…
I really believe there’s a huge impact that
could be made in the public sector if we
embrace design thinking.
Public policies are made without proper
research or without prototyping, so a lot
of error ar made and they end up
learning with the practice what could
have been prevented earlier.
Interdisciplinary research for social
impact…
In this field I have already started to apply
design thinking and it has proved to be
really helpful, but it needs to keep on
groing and the rest of the team need to
develop more confidence about it, which I
am sure we will. Hope to use some of the
tools provided by this class.
