2. How to do it…
We added a filter to our
video by using colour
corrector 3-way. This
enabled us to use three
different shades added
together to produce the
appropriate colour. We were
aiming to create a vintage
feel to our video, therefore
we chose shades of yellow
and orange.

3. Matching the filter to our video
Once we had the 3-way
colour corrector open and
had seen what different
colour’s it included, we
opened our video up next
to it so we could match the
right colour’s to our video
in particular. We could see
that the filter made a huge
difference and made the
video more ‘vintage’, clear
and appealing.

4. The result!
(BEFORE)
The original video was
reasonably bright due to the
weather, but looks quite dull
and doesn’t stand out.
(AFTER)
Now, the artist looks brighter and
stands out, the video looks more
autumnal and there is a general
warm atmosphere created!
