Film Proposal:
Young 16-year-old teen Kylie always
reminisces the times she had with her father.
Her father died when she was 5, she lived
with her mum for 2 years and her mum was
sent to rehab. She suffered from depression
because of the death of her husband. Kylie
now lives with aunt and grandma. She fails
to participate in school activities and hangs
out with bad influential people. Her
grandmother worries about her behaviour
and her academics.
Her friend Rocky, stole in school and pins
the blame on her. So kylie is sent to the
principles office. Instead of excluding her,
they lecture her on the future. They show
hwe things that she may be interested in,
once she’s in and out of school. She decides
to make a change. On the same day her
mother comes to visit her at her school. Her
friends ask her to come out instead of going
home but they get an unexpected reply from
her. Ky lie said, sorry I can’t hang around y ou
guys anymore.
She hugs her mother and say s, ‘I will never
let y ou go.’
