Film Production
• Production involves the creation of the media
product and is the responsibility of the PRODUCTION
  COMPANY

• This includes all pre-production, production & post-
  production processes.

• Before that the writer/director/producer must find
finance for a film – which may come from one or
  many production companies (a co-production)
You will research either pre-
   production, production or post
    production and present your
findings in the form of a
collaborative, group poster. Consider
your use of colour, image and
 information. Your poster should be
    eye catching and informative.

Pre-production
• What job roles are connected to pre-production?
• What are the responsibilities of these production roles?
• What experience do they need?
• What facilities and equipment do they need?
• How do production companies achieve finance for a
  production?
• How long does the pre-production stage last?
• What is the hierarchy amongst the pre-production roles
(who is most/least important? Who manages who?)

• Can you find out how much money Warp Films needed to finance a specific film?
• Can you find any individual case study examples of people who fulfil the production
  roles?
