FOR GRADE THREE PHYSICAL EDUCATION

1. Field Dodge Ball
MATERIALS:
1 BALL
1 CONE OR MARKER
It is a game that develops hand-eye coordination
and speed. This game is played by two teams:
1team=fielders
1 team=runners

2. 1.The runners will be divided into two
single files behind a boundary line.
2. On the given signal, the first two
players from each line will attempt to
run around a marker at the opposite
end of the field and return to tag the
next player in line.

3. 3. Once tagged, the next player in line
will immediately do the same.
4.One run will be awarded each time
a runner makes it around the cone
and back, safely.

4. 5. Runners are allowed anywhere
inside the boundaries of the field.
6.They may stop, start again, dodge
and hide behind their opponent
player.

5. 7. The fielders are given a ball. In order to get
runner out, they must hit runner with the ball.
8. Fielders are not allowed to run with the ball.
They may take one step, at which point they
must throw the ball to another player or throw
the ball to another player or throw the ball at a
runner.

6. 9. Fielders may have the ball for a maximum of
three seconds. If they hold the ball longer than
three seconds, an extra run may be credited to the
opposing team.
10. After the fielders get three out, they will
change positions; fielders become runners and
runners, fielders.
