• ELL – 5 in 4th grade (One is not identified by the district but does speak Spanish with
her teacher more frequently than English so she is counted as ESL)
• Edgerton has 13 Transitional Bilingual enrolled in the school. It is the second largest
subgroup to the Free/Reduced Lunch count.
• SPED- 6 (none of these have goals in Literacy, 1 is also a 4th grade ELL student)

5. 2014-2015 LAP GOALS
• Goal 8: 100% of 61 students enrolled in LAP at Edgerton Elementary will show more than 1
year’s growth as measured by the Dynamic Indicators of basic Early Literacy Skills and
indicated on the LAP Reporting Tool from September 2014 Benchmark screener and
compared to the April 2015 Benchmark screener. Students will meet or exceed their goals set
in Pathways to Progress indicating more than 1 year’s growth. (Moving from Intensive to
Strategic or better, and moving from strategic to Benchmark).
• Goal 6: 100% of 4th Grade LAP students (14 students) will make at least 1.3 year’s growth as
indicated by their reading level in the STAR Reading assessment.
• Goal 3: 100% of 4th Grade ELL students will be reading at a 4.0 GE and / or gain 1.5 years’
growth whichever indicated by the Star Reading assessment.
