2. Throughout the whole of the coursework I regularly got feedback from my lecturer, family members and also my peers. This helped me a great deal when deciding the font, colour, logo and tagline for my newspaper as they had fresh ideas for what would be the best fit for my local newspaper.
3. POSTER To receive feedback on my poster I printed it out in A3 and stuck it up on the wall. I then asked for people opinions of what I should change and improve. I got a good response from this as people said that the poster matched the same style to the front cover and inside page of my local newspaper. Most people said that the advertisement on the poster was clear however several did say that to improve the poster I should have used larger font to make the meaning of the poster more clear to pass byers.
4. FRONT COVER I printed out the front page of the newspaper and went around my class asking my peers what they thought was successful and what I could have improved. The colour I used was praised as they all thought it was a good choice. They also thought that it was good having a photograph of the pretend article writer as they thought it looked very professional and realistic. The suggestions that several people said was that I could have got away with only using two news stories on the cover rather than three as they thought it was a little over crowded. However overall I got very positive feedback.
5. INSIDE PAGE I got some very positive feedback from my peers about the inside page of my local newspaper. Like I did for my poster and front page, I printed out the inside page and passed it around the classroom. One point that was mentioned by most people was my left hand side column, everyone thought it looked really professional and said it was generally really successful. However I did get some negative feedback about the Masthead, they said that it would have been more successful is the writing was larger as then it would stand out more. Overall I got some really positive feedback from my peers about the inside page of my local newspaper.
