iOS 11 was presented at WWDC 2017 and introduces several new features, including an improved Control Center with more customization, iMessage business chat, an improved Siri with new translation abilities, and notifications when apps access location services. The fourth beta of iOS 11 was released in August 2017 and the official release is scheduled for fall 2017 alongside the iPhone 8.
Among the technological tribe, the most popular terms associated with mobile phones are Android and iOS. While the former allows transparency and easy accessibility, the latter has carved a mass for itself, even though it allows strict connectivity. But when it comes to Apple, the loyal customers forget all of its cones and just stick on to the beauty, elegance and the magical iOS that runs like a pure charm.
It was on June 29, 2007, Steve Jobs, the then chairman and co-founder of Apple.Inc launched iPhone with iOS 1. Since then, the operating system has undergone some major upgrades, which was a result of continuous hard work and passion towards achieving beyond the expectations of the consumer. Here, we are glad to give you a brief sneak peek into the history of world’s favourite operating system.
iOS has evolved significantly since its original release in 2007. iOS 1 introduced the revolutionary multi-touch interface and apps on the iPhone. iOS 2 added support for third-party apps and the App Store. iOS 3 added features like push notifications and in-app purchases. Subsequent releases introduced major features like the iPad, multitasking, Siri, iMessage, Apple Pay, and continuity between iOS and Mac devices. The latest versions have focused on intelligence, proactivity, privacy, and opening the platform to more third-party integration. iOS has transformed how people use mobile devices.
iOS 8 introduces several new features and enhancements to existing apps. Messages now allows users to peek at photo histories and see location sharing from contacts. The Camera app adds timelapse video recording and brightness adjustment. Safari introduces quick website searching from the address bar and an option to view full desktop sites. Siri can now be activated by voice from the lock screen when charging. Battery usage details are also now available to see which apps consume the most power.
This document outlines the steps for iPhone developers to submit their apps to the Apple App Store. It explains that the App Store currently hosts over 1.2 million apps. Developers need to register for an Apple developer account to obtain a distribution certificate and provisioning profile. They then submit their app along with metadata like keywords, launch images, screenshots, and contact information. With over a million apps to compete with, following the proper submission process is important to get an app in front of potential users on the App Store.
iOS 10 includes major updates to Apple's core apps like Messages, Maps, Photos, and Music that enhance functionality and usability. Messages introduces new animated effects, invisible ink, and stickers. Maps is redesigned with new search and reservation capabilities. Siri now works with more third party apps. The Home app allows controlling connected home devices from one place. Overall, iOS 10 offers significant improvements across the operating system for a more personal, powerful, and playful experience.
The document discusses the key features of iOS 7, Apple's latest mobile operating system. It was announced in 2013 and introduced a redesigned interface led by Jony Ive that moved away from skeuomorphic designs. Major new features included Control Center, improved multitasking, notifications, Safari, sharing via AirDrop, and enhanced functionality of apps like Camera, Photos, Siri and more. The document provides details on the updated features and user interface changes in iOS 7.
There are certain benefits of using iPhone and that’s why many people prefer it over Android and others. Here, I am going to explain a few of them.

Removing Uninteresting Bytes in Software FuzzingAftab Hussain
Imagine a world where software fuzzing, the process of mutating bytes in test seeds to uncover hidden and erroneous program behaviors, becomes faster and more effective. A lot depends on the initial seeds, which can significantly dictate the trajectory of a fuzzing campaign, particularly in terms of how long it takes to uncover interesting behaviour in your code. We introduce DIAR, a technique designed to speedup fuzzing campaigns by pinpointing and eliminating those uninteresting bytes in the seeds. Picture this: instead of wasting valuable resources on meaningless mutations in large, bloated seeds, DIAR removes the unnecessary bytes, streamlining the entire process.
In this work, we equipped AFL, a popular fuzzer, with DIAR and examined two critical Linux libraries -- Libxml's xmllint, a tool for parsing xml documents, and Binutil's readelf, an essential debugging and security analysis command-line tool used to display detailed information about ELF (Executable and Linkable Format). Our preliminary results show that AFL+DIAR does not only discover new paths more quickly but also achieves higher coverage overall. This work thus showcases how starting with lean and optimized seeds can lead to faster, more comprehensive fuzzing campaigns -- and DIAR helps you find such seeds.

Webinar Recording: https://www.panagenda.com/webinars/hcl-notes-und-domino-lizenzkostenreduzierung-in-der-welt-von-dlau/
