TheFamily: Don't you care?, by Oussama Ammar, Partner at TheFamilyTheFamily
You can find the video conference here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dNdAkmAK0k8
As an entrepreneur, you have the chance to talk directly to your community. You know them well. This is an extraordinary advantage: you’ll be able to please them like no one else could. You must take this conversation very seriously and make the most out of it. The pay-it-forward mindset is key to building a startup over the long run and creating something indestructible - trust, whether it is with your fans, clients or employees. Learn in this slides why caring matters the most and how to care.
TheFamily strives for ambitious entrepreneurs in Europe, offering them education, tools and capital. At TheFamily, we believe that anyone can become a great entrepreneur.

TheFamily: Bootstrapping Like a Boss, by Oussama Ammar, Partner at TheFamilyTheFamily
You can find the video related to these slides here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lXQHvyR0Ymk
Before seeking any outside funding, you must bootstrap.
What does it mean? You may not find customers on day one, so you’ll have to be creative in order to grow your startup. Bootstrapping is about creating the best opportunities to build your product, your community, your team and your culture. Not having money forces you to use your imagination to solve problems. You will find hacks and tricks, but above all, you’ll make all sorts of mistakes and learn from them, for zero money spent.

Startups are going to save the world, Oussama Ammar, Partner at TheFamilyTheFamily
You can find the video here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sbD2p0YeF9U
Making money? That’s cool if you do. But it’s a means, not a goal. Your goal is to change the game, to concentrate on a problem that matters and to make a difference. Seize today’s opportunities - now is when individuals can finally hustle their way beyond all expectations. You can learn anything, you can start a business without anyone’s permission, you can be a pioneer. All the barriers are breaking down. But more openness also means more competition and more judges. Against the odds, you’ll have no other choice but to be honest and constantly questioning yourself about WHY you’re doing your startup - because that’s what it means to be brave.
TheFamily strives for ambitious entrepreneurs in Europe, offering them education, tools and capital. At TheFamily, we believe that anyone can become a great entrepreneur.

TheFamily: Do You Know Why?, By Oussama Ammar, Partner at TheFamilyTheFamily
You can find the video here:
https://youtu.be/rZiGHA-atv0
You can explain what you do in a 10 second pitch. You can show how you do it through an amazing demonstration. But can you clearly define the reasons why you do it? If you can, you’ll attract the most motivated people, the ones who share the exact same purpose. If it’s true that startups’ missions are deeply rooted in the founders’ personal stories, they still need to be expressed and obvious for the rest of the team, the users and all the people you’re enrolling.

Started from the Bottom, Oussama Ammar, Partner at TheFamilyTheFamily
You can find the video here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7WFFzl91Lhc
In this video, Oussama talks about what it means to build ambitious startups in a toxic ecosystem.
Don’t be fooled by the number of accelerators, incubators and other things aiming to help startups across Europe. Today, any entrepreneur from a European country who recognizes the weaknesses and strengths of the local environment can push forward.
Don’t just rely on Mashable, TechCrunch or Forbes to give you actionable hints for your own startup. This content can be useful and certainly interesting to read. But we need to filter that information, put it into our context and adapt it to our European reality. In this video, Oussama talks about how you can develop this localization filter that will help you know what to apply to your life and your company, and what isn’t quite yet applicable in Europe.
TheFamily nurtures entrepreneurs with education, unfair advantages and capital.
TheFamily believes that Europe can create tons of crazy startups, through education.

TheFamily: The Founder's Dilemma, by Oussama Ammar, Partner at TheFamilyTheFamily
You can find the video conference here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZUbVtVc8OAA
The main reasons why startups fail come back to a problem between founders. Choosing a cofounder is the most important decision you will make when starting your company. It’s even more important than your project: projects can change, but what can’t change is people. If you’re not working with people who are going through the same learning curve as you, you can’t achieve anything. This conference explains how to find the right people, develop your trust in them, and keep your communication transparent and your goals aligned.

Money. Power. Respect. Oussama Ammar, Partner at TheFamilyTheFamily
Anyone asking you to work on a business plan while you’re still searching for a virtuous business model isn’t an investor you want. Who you raise money from is a key question - not every dollar is the same. Good money comes when you can reverse the balance of power. Raising funds is like a mix between playing poker and buying a house. You need to go all in with your own cards. But you can’t keep a poker face in front of the landlord, because it could be a long-term relationship and it should be based on honesty. Learn how to do this, player!

We discuss the history of PHP and its frameworks to understand how this dependence has evolved. The focus will be on providing concrete tips and strategies to reduce reliance on these frameworks, based on real-world examples and practical considerations. The goal is to equip developers with the skills and knowledge to create more flexible and future-proof web applications. We'll explore the importance of maintaining autonomy in a rapidly changing tech landscape and how to make informed decisions in PHP development.
This talk is aimed at encouraging a more independent approach to using PHP frameworks, moving towards a more flexible and future-proof approach to PHP development.
"Impact of front-end architecture on development cost", Viktor TurskyiFwdays
I have heard many times that architecture is not important for the front-end. Also, many times I have seen how developers implement features on the front-end just following the standard rules for a framework and think that this is enough to successfully launch the project, and then the project fails. How to prevent this and what approach to choose? I have launched dozens of complex projects and during the talk we will analyze which approaches have worked for me and which have not.
