1) A static structural analysis was performed on an assembly consisting of two aluminum alloy parts connected by revolute joints and a frictional contact.
2) A moment load of -100,000 N-mm was applied. This caused a maximum total deformation of 6.3572 mm and maximum equivalent stress of 365.08 MPa in one of the parts.
3) Contact analysis found a maximum pressure of 295.1 MPa at the frictional contact interface between the two parts.
