The report analyzed survey responses from 1,000 expectant and new mothers globally to understand their mindsets, needs, and behaviors. Key findings include:
- Anxiety and excitement levels are high throughout pregnancy and early motherhood. Confidence tends to be low but increases with social support. Top concerns are baby feeding, health, and development.
- Mothers rely heavily on their own mothers and friends for information and reassurance. They also use various online platforms and channels depending on their stage of motherhood.
- New mothers crave help with self-care, baby care duties, and reducing feelings of isolation. Building confidence and fostering connections are important. Regional differences exist such as Americans spending more time online
