One bright sunny afternoon, the author went to the beach for a summer vacation with friends at one of Portland's greatest attractions. The attraction was Frenchman's Cove beach, where the author was excited to dive into the clean blue water while dressed in a bathing suit. On the way there, the group stopped to eat at a riverside restaurant called Belinda's Riverside Cantee after seeing banana transportation on the Rio Grande river.

transport bananas from the inland plantations to the harbour at
Port Antonio. We even saw a man carrying the bananas on his
