International telecom fraud is huge problem for the industry. Global
annual fraud losses are estimated to exceed $46 billion USD according
to the CFCA Global Fraud Loss survey 2014. Alarmingly, fraud losses are
growing at a faster rate than telecom revenues. As Fraud grows, a lot of

iBasis developed FraudAlert: a simple, effective and cost-efficient
fraud management solution that detects suspicious traffic near-real
time. FraudAlert analyses all customers Call Detail Records (CDRs) and
detects fraudulent traffic by comparing current traffic patterns with past
periods. It will help you to reliably identify and discontinue fraud traffic,
thus not redirecting it back to you. You decide how: either manually
or automatically. FraudAlert constantly scans all traffic received from a
customer, and provides an early warning of possible revenue leaks caused
by unsolicited traffic.
In the past, early detection of unsolicited traffic required large CAPEX
investments and expertise to discontinue the traffic quickly. Now, with
web-based FraudAlert, you can minimize your direct financial loss
without a large CAPEX investment. FraudAlert eliminates the risk of loss
of revenue and subscriber confidence due to adverse publicity. FraudAlert
algorithms are detecting a large number of fraud types and are enhanced
