Several schools in Iowa have started garden programs to educate students about nutrition and agriculture. Farm to School Gardens have been established at Postville Community School, Turkey Valley School, Decorah School, and Starmont School with each developing their own community garden to teach children. Cresco Community School has also implemented a garden program.
