The presentation covered hardware and software requirements, configuring I/O modules in TIA Portal, exporting a GSDML file for the robot controller to act as an I-Device, and loading the configuration to start data transfer between the robot and PLC. Moradia provided detailed steps for setting up PROFINET communication between the R-30+B Plus and a Siemens PLC for integrated automation with TIA Portal.
