Noise pollution is a type of environmental pollution caused by loud or disturbing sounds that can negatively impact human health and wildlife. Transportation vehicles are major contributors to noise pollution through aircraft, trains, trucks, buses, cars, and motorcycles. Noise pollution can cause health issues like hypertension, stress, hearing loss, and sleep disturbances in both humans and animals. It also disrupts wildlife behaviors and reduces suitable habitats. Solutions include designing quieter vehicles, limiting vehicle speeds, using noise barriers, and transitioning to electric vehicles.
This presentation on noise pollution covers the causes, effects, and facts related to noise and presents the ways to protect the environment from the harmful effects of noise in world and it also includes the statistics of Pakistan.
Noise pollution has become a signicant problem in
Bangladesh, especially in all the divisional headquarters
where sound levels are far beyond the acceptable sound
level for the human ear, according to a recent study by the
Department of Environment (DoE).
A sound, especially one that is loud or unpleasant or that causes disturbance.
Noise pollution is the disturbing noise with harmful impact on the activity of human or animal life. The source of outdoor noise worldwide is mainly caused by machines, transportation systems, motor
vehicles engines and trains. Outdoor noise is summarized by the word environmental noise. Poor urban planning may give rise to noise pollution, side-by-side industrial and residential buildings can result in noise pollution in the residential areas.
Sound becomes unwanted when it either interferes with normal activities such as sleep, conversation, or disrupts or diminishes one's quality of life.
Noise pollution affects both health and behavior. Unwanted sound (noise) can damage psychological health. Noise pollution can cause hypertension, high stress levels, tinnitus, hearing loss, sleep disturbances, and other harmful effects.
Chronic exposure to noise may cause noise-induced hearing loss.

Model Attribute Check Company Auto PropertyCeline George
In Odoo, the multi-company feature allows you to manage multiple companies within a single Odoo database instance. Each company can have its own configurations while still sharing common resources such as products, customers, and suppliers.
This is a presentation by Dada Robert in a Your Skill Boost masterclass organised by the Excellence Foundation for South Sudan (EFSS) on Saturday, the 25th and Sunday, the 26th of May 2024.
He discussed the concept of quality improvement, emphasizing its applicability to various aspects of life, including personal, project, and program improvements. He defined quality as doing the right thing at the right time in the right way to achieve the best possible results and discussed the concept of the "gap" between what we know and what we do, and how this gap represents the areas we need to improve. He explained the scientific approach to quality improvement, which involves systematic performance analysis, testing and learning, and implementing change ideas. He also highlighted the importance of client focus and a team approach to quality improvement.
How to Make a Field invisible in Odoo 17Celine George
It is possible to hide or invisible some fields in odoo. Commonly using “invisible” attribute in the field definition to invisible the fields. This slide will show how to make a field invisible in odoo 17.
The Indian economy is classified into different sectors to simplify the analysis and understanding of economic activities. For Class 10, it's essential to grasp the sectors of the Indian economy, understand their characteristics, and recognize their importance. This guide will provide detailed notes on the Sectors of the Indian Economy Class 10, using specific long-tail keywords to enhance comprehension.

Synthetic Fiber Construction in lab .pptxPavel ( NSTU)
Synthetic fiber production is a fascinating and complex field that blends chemistry, engineering, and environmental science. By understanding these aspects, students can gain a comprehensive view of synthetic fiber production, its impact on society and the environment, and the potential for future innovations. Synthetic fibers play a crucial role in modern society, impacting various aspects of daily life, industry, and the environment. ynthetic fibers are integral to modern life, offering a range of benefits from cost-effectiveness and versatility to innovative applications and performance characteristics. While they pose environmental challenges, ongoing research and development aim to create more sustainable and eco-friendly alternatives. Understanding the importance of synthetic fibers helps in appreciating their role in the economy, industry, and daily life, while also emphasizing the need for sustainable practices and innovation.
2. THE PROBLEM Noise pollution is a type of energy pollution in which distracting, irritating, or damaging sounds are freely audible.
3. In this type of contamination the humans are the main guilty because is due to them who exist noise harmful to health or welfare. Transportation vehicles are the worst offenders, with aircraft, railroad stock, trucks, buses, automobiles, and motorcycles all producing excessive noise. CAUSES
4. In the narrowest sense, sounds are considered noise pollution if they adversely affect wildlife, human activity, or are capable of damaging physical structures on a regular, repeating basis. EFFECTS
5. Noise pollution can cause annoyance and aggression, hypertension, high stress levels, tinnitus, hearing loss, sleep disturbances, and other harmful effects.
6. An impact of noise on animal life is the reduction of usable habitat that noisy areas may cause, which in the case of endangered species may be part of the path to extinction.
7. Train, airplane automobile, motorcycle, and even entertainment noise can disturb wildlife habits, sleep disruption in humans and animals, hearing loss, heart disease and in severe cases even mental instability.
8. How is noise measured? Noise or sound is measured in decibels (dB). The typical sound levels measured in the surrounding are as follows: * library - 35 dB * office - 60- 65 * normal traffic noise 70 - 80 dB * Airport (plane take off) - 120 dB
9. There are a variety of strategies for mitigating roadway noise including: use of noise barriers, limitation of vehicle speeds, alteration of roadway surface texture, limitation of heavy vehicles, use of traffic controls that smooth vehicle flow to reduce braking and acceleration, and tire design. POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS
10. Aircraft noise can be reduced to some extent by design of quieter jet engines, which was pursued vigorously in the 1970s and 1980s.
11. Another solution to this problem is to use electric, or hybrid-electric, automobile. Hybrid vehicles are so quite, in fact, that legislation is pending to actually make them louder.
12. CONCLUSIONS Many conflicts over noise pollution are handled by negotiation between the emitter and the receiver.
13. Noise pollution often persists because only five to ten percent of people affected by noise will lodge a formal complaint .
14. Many people are not aware of their legal right to quiet and do not know how to register a complaint.
