Your browser retrieves files from various storage locations and displays them on your computer. Static files like images are small and can be stored on the school's storage server, allowing them to load quickly in the browser. Medium files like documents and presentations can also be stored on the school server but larger storage may be needed over time. Video files are too large for the school storage and are best stored on services with large online storage capacities and bandwidth like YouTube. Different file types can be embedded into webpages from storage locations using services like embed.it, YouTube, SlideShare and Google Docs.
