- 3. Overview •Clemenceau MedicalCenter (CMC) is designed to offer patients the most innovative treatments and technologies available in the region, in a safe and compassionate environment. The hospital, with 106 operating beds, provides all the essential health services required through a person’s life time. Beyond the medical field, the patients enjoy first class-service, in a 5 star hotel ambiance with spacious furnished rooms, suites, and comfortable waiting areas. •CMC Management’s plan is to develop an extension to CMC’s main building that would accommodate more space for an extra 57 inpatient beds incorporating: maternity beds and medical/surgical beds as well as 4 additional operating rooms, Labor and Delivery rooms, additional emergency cubicles, an interventional radiology unit, an open MRI etc. The extension is expected to increase the Medical Center’s current capacity and will include a cancer center, hemodialysis unit, and a new stem cell unit. Moreover, 5 new clinics will be added to the number of outpatient clinics. It is expected to be completed in 2017. In response to the increasing regional and international patients that CMC receives, the management has decided to introduce a new clinics building that will house 35 of the 40 new clinics. The new clinics building is expected to launch in 2016.
