The Old Bazaar is a treasure trove for those seeking authentic Macedonian souvenirs.
3. Stone Bridge and Macedonia Square:
Next on our itinerary is the iconic Stone Bridge, an enduring symbol of Skopje, spanning the Vardar River. This ancient bridge has connected the city's two sides since the 6th century and witnessed countless historical events. This impressive monument pays tribute to Macedonia's ancient heritage and serves as a meeting point for locals and tourists alike.
4. Skopje Fortress:
As our journey continues, we'll ascend the hill to the Skopje Fortress, also known as the Fortress of Justinian. This historical gem offers breathtaking views of the city and the surrounding landscapes. Exploring the fortress grounds, you'll find a peaceful retreat from the city's bustling energy.
