This document outlines the itinerary and activities for an intercultural exchange program held in Tuchów, Poland from March 11-19, 2018. Groups of students and teachers from France, Turkey, and Spain will visit sites of historical and cultural significance in Tuchów and nearby areas like Tarnów, Zakopane, Wieliczka, and Kraków. The itinerary includes excursions, workshops on building intercultural tolerance, preparation of materials for the program, and a final event with performances representing each country. Participants will stay with host families and participate in meals and social activities together.

09:00-10:00 - Erasmus + Team reception / visit of the school / Headmaster's speech
10:00-10:30 – Coffee/tea break at school (paid by the host)
10:30-11:30 - Learning activity - native language
11:30-12:30 - Workshop 1: Building tolerance between nations of different ethnic origins; it
can be : Ways of building tolerance in your own countries, how should we build tolerance to
people of different origins; during the last exchange in Poland we should come up with
solutions to the question: What to do to be tolerant and to be able to live in a peaceful world
despite many differences, conflicts, prejudices, etc. ( presentations prepared by the French,
Spanish, Turkish, Polish students or teachers; it is up to you)

2. Tuesday 13th
7:00 – 21:30 - A trip to Zakopane – tangible historical heritage (picnic lunch)
11:00 –13:00 - Kasprowy Cable Car (ticket 25euros/person) take student’s ID
13:00 – 15:00 – sightseeing Zakopane
15:00 – 16:30 - Dinner in Zakopane (10 euros/person)
16:30 – 18:00 - Krupówki Street (buying souvenirs)
18:00 – 21:30 – going back to Tuchów

We are going to have a rehearsal in the local Culture Centre in Tuchów (5 – minute
walk) before FINAL EVENT on Friday
Probably we will start earlier because I think that 2 hours are not enough!!! Maybe we will
have dinner earlier and do without a second session of preparing the comic, but we will see;-))
Thursday 15th
06:30-21:00 - a trip to Wieliczka and Kraków - historical visit
9:15 – 12:15 Wieliczka Salt Mine – ticket (20 euros/person)
13:00 – 14:00– dinner in Cracow (10 euros/person)
14:00 – 17:00 – sightseeing Cracow
17:00 – 19:00 - free time (buying souvenirs)
19:00-21:00 - going back to Tuchów
Friday 16th
morning :
09:00-10:30 – Workshop – Irish dance
10:30-11:00 – Coffee /tea Break
11:00 – 12:00 - Saint Patrick’s Day Parade don’t forget to bring your national flags for the
parade!!!
12:00 – 14:00 – Final event in the local Culture Centre
Marie and Kurti, could you prepare dances, please; Spain will perform a
Pantomime: the rest of the event is up to a Polish team.
14:30 – 16:00 – Dinner at school (paid by the host)

3. Saturday 17th
08:00-18:00 – a trip to Bóbrka (Museum of the Oil and Gas Industry) & to Krosno (Glass
Centre) - tangible historical heritage
Dinner in Krosno (about 10euros/person)
Sunday 18th
15:00 - 18:00 Evaluation and/or satisfaction questionnaires&
Farewell party at school (food prepared by the host students’ parents, a disco!!)
Monday, 19th March – Departure of French and Turkish groups - (Cracow at 10:10)
Wednesday, 21th March – departure of a Spanish group – (Cracow at 13:30)
