This document outlines the schedule and activities for a Grundtvig project meeting taking place in Ploiesti, Romania from September 25th to October 2nd, 2014. The schedule includes visits to landmarks in Bucharest and Brasov like Cotroceni Palace, the Houses of Parliament, Peles Castle, and Bran Castle. It also includes cultural exchanges for students, English lessons, workshops, and visits to natural attractions like the Bucegi Plateau and Ialomicioara Cave. visiting Bucharest)
Cotroceni Palace (the place where the president lives) –
9.30am (students - 21 ron/person, teachers - 27ron/person)
Houses of Parliament – 11.30am ( age 18-26 - 23ron/person,
older than 26 – 45 ron/person)
Lunch – Caru’cu bere – the most famous traditional and
historical restaurant in the city (about 20 euro/person, but in
ron)
Walking tour of the old city: Stavropoleos Monastery, Russian
Church, Victoria Boulevard, Constitution Square
Dinner in the hotel/Ploiesti
Every person must have the ID card or passport along with
the student’s card. Without these documents it’s impossible
to visit the museums.

3. For your own safety, you must bring proper mountain
outfits, waterproof jacket and mountain boots! Don’t
forget it’s 2300 meters high (5-10 degrees Celsius)!
ONLY ONE DAY EARLIER WE’LL KNOW FOR SURE
THE WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE BUCEGI
PLATEAU. IN CASE IT’S BAD AND THE CABLE CAR
WON’T WORK, WE’LL CHANGE THE PROGRAM
