Food labelling in South Africa is regulated by multiple government departments, which can make compliance complex. Updating labels to meet new regulations is expensive for manufacturers. While non-compliance can result in fines, some manufacturers and smaller retailers have yet to fully implement the necessary changes. Consumers are increasingly aware of their rights regarding labelling and instances of reported mislabelled products are growing. Industry players need to make a greater effort to understand and follow all applicable labelling rules.
1. The document provides instructions for a drawing lesson on landscape drawing. It explains that in a landscape drawing, the nearest objects are drawn in the foreground and are usually the largest. Objects behind the foreground are drawn in the middle ground, and the farthest objects are drawn in the background and are the smallest.
2. Students are instructed to draw a landscape showing a foreground, middle ground, and background. They are told to position objects to show balance in the composition.
3. The summary restates the key points that in a landscape drawing, objects are drawn at different sizes depending on their placement in the foreground, middle ground, or background to create a sense of depth and balance.

It involves designing a Zigbee-based smart power meter that can read power consumption and communicate data wirelessly to a utility server. The smart meter implementation uses an ARM cortex M4 microcontroller to monitor power usage and transmit consumption details via Zigbee modules. The simulation is done using Embedded C in Proteus along with a CCS compiler. Key aspects covered include the system design, Zigbee technology, tarang communication modules, the smart meter operation flowchart, components like relays and transformers, and benefits of smart grids and smart metering.
Simulation of Smart Meter Using Proteus software for Smart GridIRJET Journal
This document discusses the simulation of a smart meter using Proteus software for a smart grid. It describes using a Zigbee wireless communication network with an ARM cortex M4 microcontroller to monitor power consumption in a home and transmit that data to a utility server. The smart meter can measure voltage, current, power usage, set a monthly budget, and send billing information via SMS. It aims to automate meter reading and billing to reduce errors and labor costs compared to traditional meters. The document outlines the methodology, including using the microcontroller to transmit power usage data via Zigbee to a receiver unit and utility for monitoring and billing.
Development of Power train in Electric Vehicles.IRJET Journal
The document discusses the development of power trains in electric vehicles. It describes some key components of an electric vehicle power train including electric motors, battery packs, battery management systems, and battery charging systems. Specifically, it provides details on permanent magnet synchronous motors, lithium-ion battery cells, centralized and decentralized battery management system architectures, and levels 1-3 charging systems. The goal of the research is to improve electric vehicle power trains and components like batteries and motors to increase their efficiency and performance.
This document discusses a power line communication system for vehicles that allows in-vehicle communication by transmitting sensor messages and data over existing 12-volt power wires, eliminating the need for additional signal wires. Currently, vehicles have extensive wiring harnesses that add weight and complexity. The proposed power line communication system would reduce the number of wires needed and associated weight and costs. It describes the basic system components, including a transmitter that would send sensor and switch data signals over the power line, and a receiver to extract and receive the data signals. Experimental results showed the feasibility of transmitting sensor data counts over the in-vehicle power line with only a small tolerance error in the received data. The system has potential to enable additional safety and communication features while
Design of Satellite Inspection Terminal for Intelligent Electric Power Patrol...ijtsrd
To address difficulties such as high error rate in data collection, untimely data uploading, and the hidden danger of inspectors, this paper designs a satellite terminal for power patrol over rough terrains. Considering the actual application scenario and the existing technology, the function of each module of the inspection terminal is designed and realized. This terminal accounts for various, flexible space ground integrated communication modes employed both on the ground and satellite, which is easy to operate and has a low power mode. Besides, it can meet the real time data upload requirement of power patrol over rough terrains. The terminal is practical, applicable, so it has application prospects in the modern power patrol system. Wenjun Wu | Xi Yang | Yan Wang "Design of Satellite Inspection Terminal for Intelligent Electric Power Patrol System" Published in International Journal of Trend in Scientific Research and Development (ijtsrd), ISSN: 2456-6470, Volume-4 | Issue-4 , June 2020, URL: https://www.ijtsrd.com/papers/ijtsrd30840.pdf Paper Url :https://www.ijtsrd.com/engineering/software-engineering/30840/design-of-satellite-inspection-terminal-for-intelligent-electric-power-patrol-system/wenjun-wu
The document describes a proposed electric bus system with wireless charging. Some key points:
- The system aims to develop an electric bus that uses renewable energy and wireless charging to address issues with pollution from fuel-powered buses.
- The bus would be charged wirelessly at stops using inductive charging technology, and could also charge via solar panels if not fully charged.
- It proposes an identification and authorization system using RFID to enable wireless charging at stops and monitor charging status.
Travel Assistant For Blind With Dynamic User Input For Location Based Alerts ...WizApsProjects
This project report describes the development of a travel assistant device for blind people using ARM7 and Zigbee technologies. The device consists of a transmitter stage carried by the user and a receiver stage located at different locations. The transmitter stage has switches, an ARM processor and Zigbee module. When the user presses a switch, it sends a signal via Zigbee to the receiver stage. The receiver stage has an ARM processor, Zigbee and output devices like a buzzer or voice module. The ARM processor at the receiver analyzes the signal and activates the appropriate output device to provide location information to the user. The report includes block diagrams, circuit diagrams and explanations of the various components used in the system.

This document discusses DEKONPOWER's intelligent charging solutions and EV charging products. It provides an overview of DEKONPOWER's product quality control processes, management systems, key technologies, and product portfolio. It also describes applications of DEKONPOWER's EV chargers in overseas markets like Europe, Asia, Australia, and Kazakhstan.
1. The document discusses vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) wireless charging technology which allows electric vehicles to charge each other without plugging in. This overcomes limitations of limited charging station availability.
2. It proposes a system where a vehicle can wirelessly charge another vehicle through magnetic resonance between transmission and receiver coils, allowing charging on the go.
3. The technology could help address electric vehicle adoption challenges by expanding convenient charging options beyond plug-in stations. However, challenges remain around implementing efficient wireless power transfer between moving vehicles.

IoT-Based Electric Vehicle Charging StationIRJET Journal
The document describes an IoT-based electric vehicle charging station system designed to provide better environmental and socioeconomic conditions. The system uses QR codes to authenticate users and check parameters like available balance and charging port/time selection from an Android app. It discusses three cases: 1) A user with a new EV receives free charging, 2) A user whose free charging period has ended must pay, and 3) A user with a non-compatible EV must also pay. The system authenticates users via their unique IDs and allows/starts charging accordingly. It aims to motivate EV adoption while allowing manufacturers to offer charging networks.
