Evaluation Questionnaire ON HMI systems
Abstract— This proposed questionnaire is a part of a major research work about
upgrading supervisory and control systems. By this paper we hope to examine the
potential value of HMI systems and their challenges with the table bellow of
criterions regarding to the oil & gas industry.
This paper also, explores the decisions inherent to applications engineering in
the oil and gas industry and offers guidance and recommendations on how HMI
systems can be chosen and then will help on the evaluation of these systems.
Notes:
- If you have more than one HMI provider in your system, please fill
questionnaires for each one.
- In this table you will find evaluation listed criterions, but are not limited to, so
we are expecting your expertise to add other norms that you have seen in your
professional career.
- Evaluation mode could be by numbers (percentage) or letters depending on
criterions.
