1. The first picture is from the film ‘Rings’ 2017. The reason I think these pictures are relatable
because in both this scene and the scene from my title sequence both protagonists are
unaware of what is going to happen. The differences are that these protagonists I have
chosen have is that the protagonist from Rings have a tape that has been aimed for them to
watch. However, the protagonist in my title sequence has no idea of what is going to
happen until she hears the glass smash.
The first picture is the film ‘Innocence’ 2013. The reason I think this film is relatable is
because of the costumes used throughout it. In the first picture the protagonist is wearing
blue which connotes happiness and innocence however considering the storyline this goes
against what the symbolisation of what the colour blue is. In my title sequence the
protagonist is wearing white which always connotes innocence, happiness and joy and this
film also goes against the symbolisation of the colour. The thing that contrasts this to the
first film is that this girl genuinely innocent. Both protagonist do what they need to do to
save themselves.
