Water is an important global common good that requires sustainable management to protect resources like rivers and aquifers. A Spanish team presented on cultural uses of water in Cantabria, including old mills, fishermen turned sportsman, and women gathering shellfish, as well as calling for local action to stop fracking that could endanger aquifers.
