I appeal to you in connection with the tender for the job, of which we've discussed on a meeting at IBM
Slovenija. My entire career i've been dealing with IT, I'm willing to accept new challenges, I strive to
acquire new skills and experiences therefore I'm sending you this application.

I have University diploma on faculty of Organization sciences, University in Maribor and diploma on Post-
secondary school on faculty of Electronic, Computer science and Informatics, also University in Maribor. I
have 6 years of working experience in the education sector and 10 years of experience working in large
banks IT environments.
Currently I am employed as data communication manager in the department for Networks and
Telecommunications in the largest Slovenian bank NLB d.d.
I am responsible for the management and development of WAN part of the network and connectivity of
remote locations towards the corporate's data center, I'm an administrator of Cisco network infrastructure
(routers and switches)
In 2012, when the renovation of a companies telephone system occurs, I took over the administration of IP
telephony system (central management of Cisco Call Manager, users administration, configuration rules,
telephone handling, ...).
Besides the regular work, I participated in the execution of large projects, where we, due to the
implementation of new technologies, automated systems by optimizing processes which significantly
reduced the costs of maintenance and management of ICT infrastructure.
The most important competences, which I would outlined ar:
self-initiativity, reliability and responsibility, ability to work in a group, adaptability and willingness to help.
My oppinion is, that it is extremely important to be in the group of collaborators in which everone are
developing, that all share their knowledge and experience. I am ready to accept new challenges, I want to
acquire new skills and experience. I had a genuine and positive relations with the current coworkers, I
believe that in their eyes I am a trusted co-worker who is always willing to help.
Form me, it is great pleasure to cooperate and build complex, large-scale projects where it is necessary to
engage and squeeze everything that is possible out of yourself that the task is performed perfectly. I am
able to perform task and duties on my own, I strive towards comprehensive and on-time ending of

In private life, I deal with mountain cycling, I organize and guide cycling tours for the Mountain Association
of Slovenia and the local alpine club. I am also a father of three children (7, 12 and 14 years old), married,
me and my wife have been living together for 17 years.
I believe that, with my knowledge and experience, I can contribute to the technological progress of your
company, with my sincerity and communicativeness I'll be able to successfully incorporated into the work
of the existing team.
The key advantage, due to which I believe I'm the right person for the position at your company, is that I
have a lot of experience in carrying out responsible tasks of maintenance, management and development
of server and network infrastructure, and a lot of experience working with clients (in my case those were
internal users). Also, I have established very good relationships with external partners (support) in
companies such as Telekom Slovenia, as well as important information and communication companies
such as NIL d.o.o, SRC d.o.o., with these competencies, your company can significantly save time
necessary to find business partners or additional support.
