I have received information from neighboring districts, without being charged. (see example attachments). Some of the information I received was in the form of revenue from ticket sales, as attendance figures were not maintained. Do you have revenue summaries from home football games for the 2013-2014 season?

Dear Mr. Rath:
This letter is written in response to your request for public information received
by the McKinney Independent School District (“MISD” or “District”) dated August 27,
2015. Specifically, as provided by Texas Government Code Section 552.261, the
following estimate is an amount that reasonably includes all costs related to reproducing
the public information, including costs of materials, labor, and overhead. Pursuant to
Texas Government Code Section 552.2615(a), compliance with your request will result
in the imposition of a charge greater than forty dollars ($40.00); therefore, this letter
includes the written itemized statement of estimated costs associated with your request.
You must respond to this estimate in order for the District to process your request.
As provided by Texas Government Code Section 552.261, the following estimate
is an amount that reasonably includes all costs related to reproducing the public
information, including costs of materials, labor, and overhead. The charge for standard
paper copies reproduced by means of an office machine copier or a computer printer is
$.10 per page or part of a page. 1 TAC 111.63(b). Each side that has recorded
information is considered a page.
Pursuant to Texas Government Code 552.2615, this letter is notification of the
duties imposed on you by this section and notification of the information needed to
respond to this estimate. In particular, the District notifies you as follows:
(1) You must provide the District with a mailing, facsimile transmission,
or electronic mail address to receive the itemized statement and that it
is the requestor's choice which type of address to provide.

(2) Your request will be considered automatically withdrawn if you do
not respond in writing to this itemized statement and any updated
itemized statement within ten (10) business days after the date the
statement is sent that:
(a) You will accept the estimated charges;
(b) You are modifying the request in response to the itemized
statement; or
(c) You have sent to the Texas Attorney General a complaint
alleging that you have been overcharged for being provided
with a copy of the public information.
(3) You may respond to the statement by delivering the written
response to the District by mail, in person, by facsimile
transmission, or by electronic mail. Please direct your response to
our offices.
Additionally, if the District later determines, but before it makes the copy or the
paper record available, that the estimated charges will exceed the charges detailed in this
written itemized statement by twenty percent (20%) or more, the District will send you a
written updated itemized statement that details all estimated charges that will be imposed,
including any allowable charges for labor or personnel costs. If you do not respond in
writing to the updated estimate in the time and manner described above, the request will
be considered to have been withdrawn.
