7. WHAT DOES GRATITUDE
MEAN?

8. GRATITUDE comes from the word
‘GRATEFUL’.
- It is the quality of being thankful;
readiness to show appreciation for and to
return kindness.

9. Gratitude shows by being
grateful for kind and
thoughtful acts shown by
people.
We can be grateful for the
world we live in.

10. Why feeling grateful and
showing gratitude is
important?

•Us to feel happy and confident
•Help us to recognize our own strengths
and the strengths of others

13. 1. Feeling Grateful
- you recognize all the positive things in
your life that make you happy.
2. Showing and Expressing gratitude to
others by:
- showing appreciation
- being generous
- being thankful

14. GRATITUDE – is also about
expressing your appreciation in
some way. Here are some
examples of how we can express
our gratitude towards others.

With God’s greatest gift, a gift too wonderful for words, but
deserving of our highest thanks. Today and each day let us
join in thanking God for His truly indescribable gift of
salvation through Christ Jesus our Lord! And the wonder of
this indescribable gift.
