Bytecode manipulation with Javassist for fun and profitJérôme Kehrli
Java bytecode is the form of instructions that the JVM executes.
A Java programmer, normally, does not need to be aware of how Java bytecode works.
Understanding the bytecode, however, is essential to the areas of tooling and program analysis, where the applications can modify the bytecode to adjust the behavior according to the application's domain. Profilers, mocking tools, AOP, ORM frameworks, IoC Containers, boilerplate code generators, etc. require to understand Java bytecode thoroughly and come up with means of manipulating it at runtime.
Each and every of these advanced features of what is nowadays standard approaches when programming with Java require a sound understanding of the Java bytecode, not to mention completely new languages running on the JVM such as Scala or Clojure.
Bytecode manipulation is not easy though ... except with Javassist.
Of all the libraries and tools providing advanced bytecode manipulation features, Javassist is the easiest to use and the quickest to master. It takes a few minutes to every initiated Java developer to understand and be able to use Javassist efficiently. And mastering bytecode manipulation, opens a whole new world of approaches and possibilities.

The initial HTTP/0.9 version provided a simple protocol for raw data transfer, while HTTP/1.0 introduced MIME-like messages to include meta information and request/response modifiers. HTTP/1.0 did not sufficiently account for hierarchical proxies, caching, persistent connections or virtual hosts. HTTP sits at the top of the TCP/IP stack and uses ports to carry protocols between services, with HTTP typically using port 80. An HTTP message is delivered over a TCP/IP connection by chopping the message into chunks small enough to fit in TCP segments, which are then sent inside IP datagrams

NVDIMM is expected as new age device recently. Though a cpu can read/write the NVDIMM directly like RAM, the data of NVDIMM remains after power down or reboot. So, on memory database will be one of the good example of usecase of NVDIMM.
Since many people have made great effort for Linux, NVDIMM drivers, filesystems,management command, and many libraries has been well developed for a few years,
However, Yasunori Goto found some issues about RAS(Reliabivity, Availability, and Serviceability) feature of NVDIMM, because characteristic of the NVDIMM is likely mixture of Storage and RAM. For example, NVDIMM does not have hotplug feature because it is inserted at DIMM slot like RAM, but its data must be back-upped/restored like storage.

Vert.x is a toolkit for building reactive microservices applications on the JVM. It uses the reactor pattern with a single-threaded event loop to avoid the C10K problem. Verticles are lightweight concurrent units that communicate asynchronously via an event bus. This allows building scalable and reactive microservices. Vert.x supports websockets, clustering, reactive programming with RxJava, and can be deployed to production environments like AWS. It also integrates with Spring for dependency injection and configuration.
