PRECEDE MANIFESTO Partnership for Reconciliation through Early Childhood Education and Development in Europe (PRECEDE)
Partnership for Reconciliation through Early Childhood Education and Development in Europe (PRECEDE) is a regional network of civil society organizations from seven European countries: “Early Years - the organisation for young children” from Northern Ireland, UK”; “Partnerë për Fëmijët”(Partners for Children) from Albania; “Balkan Sunflowers” from Kosovo; “The Center for Civil Initiatives”(CCI) from Croatia; “First Children’s Embassy in the World - Megjashi” from Macedonia; “Djeca prije svega” from Montenegro, and “Pomoć deci” from Serbia.
The main objective of the PRECEDE network is to strengthen the capacity of civil society organizations in the Balkan region and Europe, and to support the process of acceptance, peace-building, reconciliation, respect for diversity and unity through education in the early years.
We, as PRECEDE partners want to ensure that children receive a priority focus in the process of all public policy-making developments, at regional and national level.

Civil society organizations, networks, associations, institutions and individuals from Serbia today gave strong support to the initiatives of the European Commission and invited Minister of Health of the European Union, countries in the region and directors of pharmaceutical companies in Abbvie, BMS, Gilead, Janssen and Merck/MSD.
ISC Serbia works with civil society organizations across Serbia to help them better represent the needs of ordinary people and become more influential partners with the business and government sectors.

The publication “Cohesion and solidarity in rural areas - how do local actors get engaged in European policy making” is ready and available for free!
The publication was prepared by local and regional public officers, policy makers, academics and NGOs from 13 countries: Slovenia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Greece, Italy, Romania, Montenegro, Serbia, Spain and Latvia, who cooperated as partners within a project called European Network for Solidarity and Cohesion in Rural Areas (ENSURE) in the years 2017-2019. In the course of two years, the ENSURE partners developed transnational actions and local actions regarding a combination of two main subjects of the project: rural development and European citizenship.
It is addressed to policy makers, public officers, experts, civil society representatives, volunteers and citizens who are active (or who would like to become active) at any levels of policy making and democratic participation – from local to European.

5. Regional Program for Ageing Society 2014-2020 in Warmia Mazury Region
•February 2013 – drafting of the new programme begins
•The aim of the new programme was to specify types of activities for seniors in all spheres of social life that would help to create a new senior-friendly social environment
6. Regional Program for Ageing Society 2014-2020 in Warmia Mazury Region
The New Programme specifies four areas of support for seniors:
•I – Health (prevention, rehabilitation), infrastructure and social services
•II – Social, cultural and educational activity
• III – Professional activity
• IV – Tourism, sports and recreation
7. Regional Program for Ageing Society 2014-2020 in Warmia Mazury Region
The Programme was adopted by the Board of the Warmia-Mazury Voivodeship (Resolution No 4/39/14/IV) on 20th January 2014
The Programme serves as a basis
for similar local programmes for seniors implemented in municipalities across the region.
8. Age Friendly Cities and Counties Programme
The „owner” of GP: West Region, Irland
Main aim: creating communities where all of inhabitants can enjoy a good quality of life, continuing to participate fully in the life of those communities as we age.
9. Age Friendly Cities and Counties Programme – implementation
Invitation to participate in the AFP has been sent to all municypalities – members of Association
The first step was done by
-/ Bartoszyce: Local Programme for Seniors was adopted 26 of June 2014;
-/ Ustka: began to build local Alliance for AFP (June 2014)
10. Cultural volunteers programme
-/ the „owner” of the GP: region Granada, Spain)
-/ The good practice is part of a National Programme in Spain which commenced in 1998 and allows seniors to become cultural guides on a voluntary basis.
11. Cultural volunteers programme in Warmia Mazury Region
-/ The GP is implementing by two institution: the Archaeological Museum and Galeria El
-/ The programm will start in the new buildings of the Museum
12. Other results
The project also supported a new programme for seniors created by the Federation of Social Organisations (FOSa) in Olsztyn – international exchanges of seniors called Silver Sharing
13. Several organisations from Spain, Ireland, the Czech Republic, Germany and Croatia are interested cooperating with FOSa on this initiative.
