Epinephrine is a hormone secreted by the medullas of adrenal glands that is also used as a drug. It is used as a stimulant in cardiac arrest, vasoconstrictor in shock, bronchodilator, and antispasmodic in bronchial asthma. Epinephrine must be stored below 25 degrees Celsius, protected from light, and not refrigerated.
