This document summarizes the key findings of a survey on enterprise 2.0 and knowledge management. The survey found that knowledge management 1.0 focused too much on technology and not enough on culture. While knowledge remains blocked in many organizations, enterprise 2.0 shows promise in capturing knowledge work as daily work. The knowledge chain involves moving from awareness to responsiveness internally and externally. Adoption of enterprise 2.0 is driven by networking, sharing, communities and speed for those inclined towards knowledge management, whereas others see its impacts more broadly. While costs, culture and control remain impediments, enterprise 2.0 budget authority is moving bottom-up. In conclusion, enterprise 2.0 shows potential as knowledge management 2.0 if organizations
