ON THE ACTUAL REENLISTMENT
ANNIVERSARY DATE.
REJECTED SRB
          REQUESTS
REJECTED SRB REQUESTS WHICH HAVE
 BEEN IN THE SYSTEM 30 DAYS AFTER THE
 REQUESTED REENLISTMENT DATE AND
 HAVE NOT BE UPDATED :
  WILL BE CANCELED. THE COMMAND
   WHICH ORIGINATED THE SUBMISSION WILL
   RECEIVE THE CANCELATION MESSAGE.
  IF A SRB IS CANCELED DUE TO NON USE,
   THE 35 DAY SUBMISSION REQUIREMENT
   WILL BE REINSTATED.
STAR SUBMISSIONS
 STAR REQUESTS CAN ONLY BE
 SUBMITTED VIA OPINS.
 DO NOT SUBMIT STAR
 REQUEST VIA BOL.
 A CHANGE REQUEST HAS
 BEEN SUBMITTED TO ALLOW
 STAR REQUESTS TO BE
 SUBMITTED VIA NSIPS.
SRB CALCULATORS
 A SRB CALCULATOR VIA NSIPS
 HAS BEEN DEVELOPED AND IS
 IN THE TESTING PHASE.
OPINS CALCULATOR: MOST
 ACCURATE. USES ACTUAL
 DATA FROM LOPG AND DFAS.
 HZ9 SCREEN OF OPINS SYSTEM.
OFFICER PROGRAMS
   WITH RESPECT TO SRB
- FACT: ENLISTED MEMBERS CAN NOT
APPLY FOR A OFFICER PROGRAM AND THEN
BE PAID A BONUS FOR A SUBSEQUENT SRB
REENLISTMENT UNTIL THE OUTCOME OF
THE OFFICER BOARD.

  • 2. SRB POLICY AND SYSTEM CHANGES  PAYMENT OF ANNUAL SRB INSTALLMENTS.  THE DISPOSITION OF UNUSED OR REJECTED SRB REQUESTS.  SUBMISSION OF STAR REQUESTS.  NEW SRB CALCULATOR VIA NSIPS.  SRB AND OFFICER SUBMISSIONS.
