Building my own robot
Bryan Santos Teacher Israel Torres
Introduction
In this monthly project, you will see how the
process is and what the construction of my
robot is based on, you will see the processes
that we need for the robot, I hope you like it
dear professor.
Purpose
Demonstrate my potential
when it comes to doing a job
at the university level
develop and apply my
knowledge based on the
technological area
Show my creativity and naive
when developing my robot.
Research
question and
objectives
• How we can make a simple robot
with recyclable materials
•
• What materials do we need to
make the robot?
•
• that the robot is able to cut the
leaves
•
. Theoretical
Framework
Making an easy homemade robot is viable, in reality a robot is any machine or
device that is under some programming to perform any activity automatically in
response to some impulse or generally electro-mechanical stimulus.
With this definition it is easy to understand that a robot is not only the archetype of
Wall-E or Skynet, but rather a programmable washing machine that automatically
performs the entire task by pressing a few buttons or robotic vacuum cleaners that,
through sensors, detect the surface to be cleaned.
Theoretical
Framework
When we hear the word robot, the first thing that
comes to mind are those impressive metallic
forms, humanoid or not, with thousands of
functions and super modern that are sometimes
considered intelligent and that we have seen in
science fiction movies or video games, and It
makes us think that making an easy
homemade robot is an arduous task,
impossible for anyone who is not an expert in
technology or an advanced engineer, but the
truth is that it can be something as simple as
making my robot
Theoretical
Framework
Materials
scissor
popsicle stick
motor
hot rubber
pill box
top
negative and positive cables
clove
connector
battery
Theorical framework
• Take the lid and open 2 holes in the middle and one below the first hole
•
• Insert the nail through the secondary hole
•
• having the motor we will see that it has a small had, then we will insert that had into the
hole in the cover
•
• we fill the lid with the hot rubber
•
• cut several pieces of wooden sticks (6 small pieces and one medium)
•
• We make two columns of 3 small pieces of wooden sticks and on top of both columns we place
the medium one, this we glue the sides of the small hole of the scissors
•
• we proceed to connect the cables to the motor and the switch
•
• let's make it work
•
• we empty the container of pills
•
• We glue this box to the engine
•
• then we glue the scissors to what we have already done, making sure that the nail is in the
middle of the 2 columns of pieces of wood
Methodology
Develop your skills
design
questions and answers
Findings
Learn that doing these
types of activities will
help you develop your
mental skills
I learned how to work this
type of project
no matter how difficult it
looks, I learned that
following directions helps
you a lot here
Conclusions
Despite the fact that
my project was a total
chaos, I would have
liked it to work, and
well in conclusion it
was a very nice
experience despite the
result, since in my 3
years in high school we
had never worked on
this, and thank you
very much
Special
Thanks
First of all, I would
like to thank you
teacher for the great
experience and also
thank certain
relatives of mine
even if they don't
know it, because my
aunt and my mother
were there with me
until the last
attempt.
