The TV show Dollhouse is about a doll named Echo, a woman that is one
of the other actives (average human beings with wiped memories) that can be

machine that has the ability to wipe a human’s memory,
imprint them, and restructure their body tissues reaction
to certain brain impulses. The only way for the actives
to get their treatments is to go back to the Dollhouse
and from then on either gets imprinted or gets a re-wipe.
