1. YOUR DUTIES:
As a journalist in our English Web-Team, you will research and write articles about
topical subjects,covering Luxembourg-related topics as well as politics,international,
business, culture, lifestyle and community. In addition to the continual reporting, you
will supplement your work with background reports, analyses and comments, while
attaching great importance to inciting the reader’s curiosity and providing the public
with competently and comprehensibly presented specialist information.
YOUR PROFILE:
> You are curious and enthusiastic, not only interested in ‘what’, but also in ‘why’,
you show initiative and you are able to work and take decisions under pressure.
You are interested in investigating connections, backgrounds and developments
behind daily events.
> You write English fluently and are able to understand either French or German to a
good standard. Knowledge of the country would be a clear advantage. In addition,
you are internet-oriented and at home in social media.
> You possess a thorough basic training, preferably a higher education degree or
several years of experience as a journalist with a specialisation in one of the topic
areas to be covered.
