The central library of Ulaanbaatar was established in 1980 to provide information, culture, and leisure to the capital city's population. It has branches in four districts and provides services like reading rooms, an American culture center, internet access, Braille books, and portable library services. The library is located on Seoul Street in Sukhbaatar District and operates Monday through Friday from 9am to 8pm in winter and 9am to 6pm in summer.
