We have established..
• 24 In-school libraries, 5 in Anambra state and 19 in Lagos
state serving 5 schools and 32 schools respectively
• 10 Prison libraries, 4 in Lagos state, 2 in Enugu state, 4 in
Anambra State
• 4 Drop Everything and Read (D.E.A.R) Time mini libraries,
serving 4 schools in Lagos state
• 8 BookCorner mini libraries serving 8 schools in Lagos state
• Internet Learning Centre (ILC) serving a population of over
2,300 state secondary school students in the Ikoyi-Obalende
area of Lagos State
• Free internet access centre in Henry Carr public library Agege,
Lagos State.

1. Drop Everything and Read
(D.E.A.R) Time
Established
D.E.A.R Time mini
libraries in two
schools in Ifitedunu,
Anambra State,
namely, St. Mary’s
High School and
Nneamaka
Secondary School,
with a total of 44
book boxes.
2. In-School Libraries
Established 5 new
in-school libraries
in 5 schools with
a total of 6,963
books in
Umudioka and
Ifitedunu local
government area
of Anambra state.
3. Prison Libraries
Established prison
libraries in Agodi
and Oyo town
prison in Oyo state,
Ile-Ife Prisons in
Osun state and
Ijebu Prison in
Ogun state.
Performance Highlight
• A total of 1,199 students took Practical Computer lessons
at our Internet Learning Center
• Our website (www.zodml.org) witnesses an average of
17,000 visitors weekly
• 5,773 government secondary school students were
beneficiaries of our BookCorner project and had access to
over 3,000 books
• 468 government primary and secondary school students
benefitted from 18 reading programme sessions during the
year.

Holiday Program
held from the 1st
of 31st of August
with a total of
268 students in
attendance and
the closing
ceremony was
done in
collaboration with
UBA foundation.
2. Dinosaurs Movie
We thrilled pupils to
the movie, Jurassic
park (1993) based on
their curiosity about
Dinosaurs after one of
our reading
programmes where
the pupils read a book
titled ‘A Little Living
Dinosaur’ by Peter
McDonnell.
