Rimetea is a small village in Romania known as the "Fairy-Tale Village" due to its charming architecture and history. The village was settled in the 13th century by miners extracting iron from the surrounding mountains. In 1996, a restoration project renovated 160 traditional houses, preserving the village's unique character. Now tourism is a major industry for Rimetea, with visitors attracted by its natural beauty, cultural attractions like an ethnographic museum, and the warm hospitality of local residents.
