This document outlines the schedule and deliverables for Project 3 of an English 202 course. It lists the work to be completed each week from weeks 7 through 9, including drafting a slidecast presentation, pitch letter, and written review. Peer reviews of these materials are due part way through weeks 8 and 9. The final deliverables for Project 3, including a self-evaluation, slidecast, pitch letter, and written review, are due by Sunday, October 28 by submitting them to the project submission drop box. Students are instructed to verify that their submissions were completed correctly.

PROJECT 3 SCHEDULE Weeks 7-9
Pitch, Compose, and File for Publication
The schedule lists the work you need to complete by the end of each week.
Submit work listed in red by 11:59 PM on the day and date indicated.

October 10-13
1. Read: Assignment Sheet.
2. Study: slidedocs 1, 2, and 3.
3. Blog Post 1 Due: Wednesday, October 9. Go to the course blog on
the project page and follow directions.
4. Go to Tools & Resources, and from the options, decide the tool (s)
you will use to create the slidecast, and do a test recording. If the
test recording fails, follow the troubleshooting advice.
5. Decide how you will work. Will you write the script first and then
design the slideshow or start with the slideshow and then write
the script?
6. Follow the requirements and guidelines in Slidedoc 1 to begin
drafting the script or the slideshow based on how you decided to
work.
Week 8
October 14-20
1. Peer Review Slidecast and Pitch Letter Part 1 Due:
Sunday, October 13. Go to the Peer Review Forum and follow the
directions to post your slidecast URL and pitch letter for the
slidecast.
2. Peer Review Slidecast and Pitch Letter Part 2 Due:
Tuesday, October 15. Go to the Peer Review Forum and follow the
directions to respond to a peer’s slidecast and pitch letter.
3. Follow the requirements and guidelines in Slidedoc 2 to begin
drafting your review and pitch letter (note the quick turnaround for
peer review on this part of the assignment!).

directions to respond to a peer’s review and pitch letter.
PROJECT 2 DELIVERABLES DUE Sunday, October 28. Submit your work to the Project 3
Submission Drop Box as follows:
 Self-Evaluation. Compose in Word, then cut and paste into the submission box.
 Deliverable 1: Slidecast. Submit the URL and Pitch Letter for your slidecast as a
Word or PDF file.
 Deliverable 2: Review. Submit the Review and Pitch as a Word or PDF file.
To avoid a point penalty, verify your submission. Do not rely solely on BbLearn’s
confirmation that your work submitted. You need to check that your work submitted
correctly.
This means you need to go back to the drop box after submitting your work and 1) open
your document files, and 2) check that the URL you submitted will work by cutting and
pasting it into a browser. If one or more files didn’t submit correctly, upload all of them
again because I grade only the last submission.
