Pickup and drop of kids to school bus is very frustrating and time consuming, Because we don't know when the Bus will come and whats the current location of the bus. So we come up with an idea to create a full fledged automated school bus management app and device which connects the parents, bus and school on a one platform . we integrate GPS and GSM in school bus to track the current location of the bus and for emergency GSM for calling service. We found many of cases of missing child while returning to home or someone kidnap from the bus stop so We added Biometric scanner for security to handle the child to known person only.

3. Abstract
▪ The innovative concept of forecasting system :- the ability to track the current
location of particular bus and estimates the arrival time of that bus to particular
bus stop.
▪ Generally, the forecasting system is 3-tiers. It is consisting of client side,
application server and database tiers.
▪ The entire system is centralized in the application server which provides the
system integration framework and operates with GPS & BIOMETRIC.
▪ The basic function of system is the ability to receive, interpret and reply
passenger’s SMS request.

▪ To create an application which is able to estimate and predict the arrival time of
school transportation to parents by taking traffic congestion factor into
consideration.

▪ To make more accessible and constantly updated dynamic bus information to the
parents.

15. Future Scope
▪ This project can be extended by incorporating a GSM module.
▪ So, We can interface this module to send messages to the near and dear ones of
the Blind person regarding his/her current position. Doing so, we can track the
movement of the Blind person in a very efficient manner.
▪ And this will also include , how to encourage more participants to bootstrap the
system because the number of sharing parents affects the prediction accuracy in
our system.
