Abstract
This paper will present an intelligent home
energy management system (HEMS) to fulfill
the needs from demand side, and this system can
be said as the integration of information,
networking, artificial intelligence and energy
management. This HEMS are composed by
several subsystems, and they are home energy
management and diagnosis platform framework,
universal smart appliance communication
module, inhabitant motion detection module, 10kbps
appliance power management plug, stand-by SCP/UPnP LonWorks ECHONET
power management plug, and home management KNX
controller. This system can analyze user
behaviors and generate responding intelligent
power management models for the power usage
optimization.
