Demand for oil and gas continues to grow with world population
and the increasing consumption of developing economies. This
increase in demand has driven advances in exploration
techniques and the opening of new territories in the quest for
new sources of oil and gas. In turn, the demand for skilled
industry professionals has increased.
We have extensive experience within the oil and gas industry and
have worked through vastly differing market conditions. We saw
Brent Oil rise to a high of $134 in July 2008 and fall to $41 in
December 2008 and we continue to navigate the twists and
turns in the market. The combination of this experience and the
networks held by our specialist oil and gas consultants gives us

OIL AND GAS
Electricity demand is increasing twice as fast as overall energy
use, with nuclear power providing approximately 11% of the
world’s electricity. The appetite for carbon free generation
gives the nuclear sector a major part in the global energy mix.
Nuclear plants operate in over 30 countries and over 60 new
plants are currently being built. In addition, at least 100
reactors are likely to be decommissioned over the next
decade. This level of global activity requires vast mobilisation
of technical skill.
However, the provision of a secure and stable supply of nuclear
energy presents a major challenge to the energy industry.
Combined with an existent global skills gap and a challenge
in sourcing the complex skills required. Our global network

nuclear lifecycle from new build, power generation and

NUCLEAR
With many countries facing power shortages, conventional
power plants remain the 
most reliable and affordable form of
electricity production and the sector is expected to continue to
grow until 2030. Combined with increasing demand for
electricity, power plant construction projects are being
fast-tracked so creating a shortage of skilled professionals and a
fight for talent on a global scale.
The industry is also experiencing intense technological
development to meet new regulations. Technologies such as
combined cycle gas turbine (CCGT) plants reduce CO2
emissions and simplify the start-up process, increasing efficiency
by reducing the time to generation. Across power generation and

The last decade saw a steady increase in the global
demand for renewable energy, by 2013 renewables supplied
approximately 19% of the world’s energy consumption. It is
estimated that more than 7.7 million people worldwide are
now employed by the renewable energy sector, China, Brazil,
the United States, India and Germany being the largest
employers. And with ongoing advances in innovation and
affordability, together with global emission targets, the sector
continues to grow and demand for skilled professionals is

We have specialist permanent consultants within
each of our industry sectors. They work on mid to
senior level placements and cover single vacancies
as well as multiple requirements and complete team

CONTRACT STAFF AND PROJECT HIRING
We manage assignments that require a single
specialist through to those that need an
integrated team. Our global network of contractors

MANAGED SERVICES
