3. Why I entered the RN-BSN Program?
For some time now I have been searching for a program of advancement that is both affordable
and convenient in that it was tailored to my busy daily activities. Many persons had advice to
give, saying that I should just specialize one time, instead of wasting money on a general nursing
degree. However nursing is my passion, and I believe that being a well rounded individual
essential for survival in this fast paced world. When I heard that an online program would be
offered with USC St. Lucia, I knew that God had answered my prayers and my path was already
decided. This degree will further serve as the building foundation for my career path as a
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and look at it as a welcomed challenge.
