Open “command prompt” with administrative
rights
Note: You must already have Admin rights to perform this task.

3. Right click on the bottom left corner &
select “Command Prompt (Admin)”.

5. Step 2.
Enable the F8 key.

6. Type the following command:
bcdedit /set {default} bootmenupolicy legacy
& press “Enter”.

7. (you should receive a “operation completed successfully” message)

8. Now close all programs and restart your computer

9. That’s all
• If you follow the above steps exactly as
presented, then, from now on, you can use
the “F8” key to enter in Advanced Options
menu when you start your computer.

10. If you want to disable the “F8” key feature perform the
same operation but this time type the following command:
bcdedit /set {default} bootmenupolicy standard
