The Benefits and Challenges of Open Educational Resources
EMCEE SCRIPT DURING CORONATION ICAMPORAL
1. School-Based Scouting Script
Being an scouter is not an easy task, since you have a lot of duties and responsibilities to
perform; however, if you live by the heart the promises and the laws of being a scouter, nothing is impossible
to do. For us to know the fulfillment of the Scout’s promises, a camping is held here at Camanga Elementary
School in which the campers are grouped together to unite and to build a good relationship.
To our ever-dynamic and handsome crowning guest of honor and speaker for tonight’s affair, to our
very young and brilliant Officer In-charge and School Commissioner Maam Chamie G. Ibuos, to our guest
from the Barangay Council headed by Hon. Marcos A. Rubio, Kag. Kenneth Jake S. Rana, kagawad in-charge
in Education, to my dedicated fellow teacher-scouters and trainers, to our BSP and GSP Participants,
supportive parents, Good evening! Welcome to the Grand Campfire and Coronation Ceremony in honor of
His highness King Gavin Cade I and Her Majesty Queen Audrey Michaela I and their Royal Court.
As per Nelson Mandela said and I quote, “Scouting inspires patriotism, sound moral values, courage,
character-building, self-reliance and community awareness.” For their two-days activity, these values are just
as relevant in helping youth grow to their full potential. Scouting helps youth develop academic skills, self-
confidence, ethics, leadership skills, and citizenship skills that influence their adult lives. They are able to
develop these values and skills while they also enjoy outdoor activities that will surely make their inner-child
heart happy.
Our Flag, the Sun and Stars is the living symbol of our country, the Philippines. It is the emblem of our
nationhood, of what we have been, of what we are, and of what we hope to be. In our flag are crystallized
our common aspirations as Filipinos and our collective vision for our country's future. May we all rise for the
MARCHING OF COLORS followed by the singing of the Philippine National Anthem Scout Zildjian P.
Canas leading. Please remain standing as Sct. Aaron T. Tabuyo lead us for the Panunumpa sa Katapatan
sa Watawat ng Pilipinas and Sct. Aljon Bert S. Llaneza for the Panatang Makabayan.

At this point, may I request all scouts and scouters to rise still for the Rededication to the Scout Oath
and Law. The Scout Oath and Law are shared by every member of the scouting group. An oath is a way a
scout agrees to act every day towards one another and other people, and the Law outlines a way to act towards
one another and the world. To lead the Oath and Law of the Kab Scouts of the Philippines, is KAB Scout
Gabriel Shane Y. Bassig and BSP Scout Jade Nathaniel B. Paz for the Boy Scout of the Phillipines.
2. Girl Scouts of all ages recite and live by the ideals listed in the Girl Scout Promise and Law. They remind us
to do our best in being kind to others, respecting ourselves, making the world a better place, and so much
more. The Girl Scout Promise is a commitment families can make to support the local Girl Scout community
as they grow, bond, and learn together. To lead the Promise and Law of the Star Scouts of the Philippines,
