The document discusses mobile cloud computing (MCC), including its architecture, applications, services, motivations and expected outcomes. MCC involves offloading data storage and processing from mobile devices to cloud infrastructure. Key applications are mobile commerce, gaming and healthcare. Services include storage, software apps and business tools provided through cloud platforms. MCC is seen as a potential technology and future research area to address limitations of mobile devices.
The document discusses the architecture of mobile cloud computing (MCC). MCC combines mobile computing, mobile internet, and cloud computing. The MCC architecture involves mobile devices connecting to mobile networks through base stations. User requests are transmitted to central processors and then to a cloud where controllers process the requests to provide cloud services. The system architecture of MCC contains four layers - access, basic management, virtual, and physical. Middleware acts as a proxy between mobile clients and cloud services, improving interaction and handling issues like limited resources.
Mobile Cloud Computing (MCC) is the combination of cloud computing, mobile computing and wireless networks to bring rich computational resources to mobile users, network operators, as well as cloud computing providers.
Market oriented mobile cloud computing architectureSaeid Abolfazli
The document proposes MOMCC, a Market-Oriented Architecture for Mobile Cloud Computing based on Service Oriented Architecture. MOMCC establishes a proximate mobile cloud to alleviate latency and heterogeneity issues. It introduces financial incentives for mobile device owners to host services, encouraging collaboration. MOMCC extends the separation of roles from SOA to include service developers, consumers, governors, and hosts. The architecture allows unskilled users to host services and increases resource availability at low cost while enhancing security, reliability, and reducing long-distance network latency issues.
Mobile Cloud Computing : The Upcoming Trend !Sai Natkar
Cloud computing and mobile technologies are the two most talked about trends in this century. Mobile Cloud Computing is an infrastructure where both the data storage and processing happens outside the mobile device. With the help of mobile Cloud Applications computing power and data storage is moved away from the mobile devices into centralized computing platforms located in clouds. It is like two or more innovations blend together to produce something more amazing.

It finds that while the digital universe is growing worldwide and in Russia, Russia's growth rate will be slower than other regions. By 2020, the Russian digital universe is projected to reach 980 exabytes, up from 155 exabytes in 2014. However, Russia's share of the worldwide digital universe will remain relatively flat at around 2%. The internet of things is projected to contribute an increasingly large portion of the Russian digital universe. A Secure Model for Cloud Computing Based Storage and RetrievalIOSR Journals
This document proposes a secure model for cloud computing storage and retrieval that separates these functions between two cloud providers. Specifically, it suggests that one provider handle storage only, while another handles only encryption and decryption. This separation prevents both functions and access to the raw data from being handled by a single administrator, improving security. The model is demonstrated using a customer relationship management (CRM) service example. It also discusses establishing service level agreements between the involved parties to formalize their roles and responsibilities.

It then provides a table of contents and abstract. The introduction defines cloud computing and discusses how it provides scalable resources over the internet. It describes the types of cloud as private, public, and hybrid and discusses their advantages, architecture involving different components, and delivery models of infrastructure as a service, platform as a service, and software as a service.
IRJET- Simultaneous ammunition for the multi-cloud computing simulation IRJET Journal
This document discusses techniques for securing data in multi-cloud computing simulations. It proposes a protocol for securely transferring data between cloud servers and storage nodes using encryption and digital signatures. The protocol uses cryptographic algorithms like elliptic curve cryptography to encrypt data, generate digital signatures for authentication, and distribute encrypted data fragments across multiple clouds for redundancy and access control. A simulation of the protocol shows how cloudlets are distributed across different data centers and virtual machines using encrypted channels and access controls. The protocol aims to provide secure data transmission and storage in multi-cloud environments.

Removing Uninteresting Bytes in Software FuzzingAftab Hussain
Imagine a world where software fuzzing, the process of mutating bytes in test seeds to uncover hidden and erroneous program behaviors, becomes faster and more effective. A lot depends on the initial seeds, which can significantly dictate the trajectory of a fuzzing campaign, particularly in terms of how long it takes to uncover interesting behaviour in your code. We introduce DIAR, a technique designed to speedup fuzzing campaigns by pinpointing and eliminating those uninteresting bytes in the seeds. Picture this: instead of wasting valuable resources on meaningless mutations in large, bloated seeds, DIAR removes the unnecessary bytes, streamlining the entire process.
In this work, we equipped AFL, a popular fuzzer, with DIAR and examined two critical Linux libraries -- Libxml's xmllint, a tool for parsing xml documents, and Binutil's readelf, an essential debugging and security analysis command-line tool used to display detailed information about ELF (Executable and Linkable Format). Our preliminary results show that AFL+DIAR does not only discover new paths more quickly but also achieves higher coverage overall. This work thus showcases how starting with lean and optimized seeds can lead to faster, more comprehensive fuzzing campaigns -- and DIAR helps you find such seeds.

You probably have questions on how this new licensing approach works and how to benefit from it. Most importantly, you likely have budget constraints and want to save money where possible. Don’t worry, we can help with all of this!
We’ll show you how to fix common misconfigurations that cause higher-than-expected user counts, and how to identify accounts which you can deactivate to save money. There are also frequent patterns that can cause unnecessary cost, like using a person document instead of a mail-in for shared mailboxes. We’ll provide examples and solutions for those as well. And naturally we’ll explain the new licensing model.
Join HCL Ambassador Marc Thomas in this webinar with a special guest appearance from Franz Walder. It will give you the tools and know-how to stay on top of what is going on with Domino licensing. You will be able lower your cost through an optimized configuration and keep it low going forward.
These topics will be covered
- Reducing license cost by finding and fixing misconfigurations and superfluous accounts
- How do CCB and CCX licenses really work?
- Understanding the DLAU tool and how to best utilize it
- Tips for common problem areas, like team mailboxes, functional/test users, etc
- Practical examples and best practices to implement right away
